Tortuga Music Festival Takes Over the Beach This Weekend
Fort Lauderdale Beach turns into a 50,000-person sing-along this weekend. The 13th annual Tortuga Music Festival runs April 10 through 12 at 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard, with multi-stage performances set up right on the sand. The 2026 headliners are Post Malone, Riley Green, and Kenny Chesney, with Ice Cube, The Fray, and Colbie Caillat filling out a lineup that has always worked a little harder than most beach festivals to cross genres.
What sets Tortuga apart is the Conservation Village — a year-over-year commitment built into the festival footprint by the Rock the Ocean Foundation. Scientists, rescue organizations, and marine educators set up camp between the stages, and the festival has raised more than $6 million for coral reef protection, marine mammal rescue, and ocean habitat restoration. You come for Kenny Chesney and leave knowing a little more about what lives past the sandbar.
If you're going: the beach site is walk-in only, and the sand is hot by noon — bring water shoes or a towel. Parking near the venue is nearly impossible; rideshare to Las Olas and walk the last stretch. Check the official festival app for set times before you leave the hotel.
